Finn's Demon Blood Sword from Adventure
This is a 3D Printed Kit to create your own sword. When assembled. the full length sword is approx. 4ft 3" long (51") long. Shipping the 4ft+ sword is cost-prohibitive unfortunately, so this will be shipped in 7 parts. To not make the sword super heavy, infill is light so striking this against something will most likely cause damage to the sword.
What you will receive:
- 9 3D Printed pieces of the Sword with connectors and a continuous hole for dowel insertion.
What you will need to supply on your own
- 5/16" dowel (for rigidity) - wood or steel. The 3D model has a hole running the entire length to accept a dowel. This is not 100% necessary, but highly recommended. Most likely, these will come in 48" lengths, so you will need to cut.
- Superglue or adhesive (not 100% necessary when using the dowel, but also highly recommended). My favorite is Akfix 705 w/ activator spray.
If you want to make it tip-top, you can get some bondo or wood filler to fill in the small gaps between the parts. And then prime or paint.
Notes:
- Note: The sword in the photos was not glued together yet - the gaps between the parts would close a little bit. Due to tolerances, you may need to sand to close the gap even further. I will try to clean up the interfaces as best as I can.
- Pictured printed in a "True Red" color with a Burgundy Red handle. If you want a different color or different color handle, please let me know.
