To not make the sword super heavy, infill is light so striking this against something will most likely cause damage to the sword.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhat you will receive:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e9 3D Printed pieces of the Sword with connectors and a continuous hole for dowel insertion.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhat you will need to supply on your own\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e5\/16\" dowel (for rigidity) - wood or steel. The 3D model has a hole running the entire length to accept a dowel.  Most likely, these will come in 48\" lengths, so you will need to cut.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSuperglue or adhesive (not 100% necessary when using the dowel, but also highly recommended). My favorite is Akfix 705 w\/ activator spray. If you want to make it tip-top, you can get some bondo or wood filler to fill in the small gaps between the parts. And then prime or paint.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNotes: - Note: The sword in the photos was not glued together yet - the gaps between the parts would close a little bit. Due to tolerances, you may need to sand to close the gap even further.
